Introducing HDID Procurement Services

My philosophy for interior design has always been to make it accessible, affordable, and beautiful. I always strive to make the life of my clients as simple as possible. That is why I am so excited to offer a new service to my clients: Procurement Services. Through this service, HDID will place, track, and clearly communicate to you the status of pieces you order. We will also make any necessary returns of items, damaged or otherwise.

The interior design process, from beginning to end, can be a long and complex journey and involves several different stages. My process includes an Initial Consultation, the Design Process, and the Design Presentation. (Please visit the HDID Process page to learn more.) After the design is completed and finalized, you get to take over. You can begin purchasing items from the provided price list as your budget allows. Or you can contract with us to work together on the procurement process.

Oftentimes, clients find the procurement process to be very intense and time consuming, perhaps filled with obstacles and outlying questions. At HDID, we strive to take away this stress with this new service. If you chose to work with us, we will provide you a detailed proposal with the cost of each piece to be delivered. Deliverables can include larger purchases (such as cabinetry, furniture, and fixtures) to small details (such as cabinet pulls and throw pillows), and everything in between. Once the proposal is finalized and approved, we ask all of our clients to put down a 100 percent deposit before proceeding.

Our commitment is to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Our procurement team will take care of ordering, tracking, and handling vendor delays. Here are just a few of the many benefits of using our procurement service:

  • We will keep you informed every step of the way with weekly updates.

  • We will communicate with all suppliers regarding specifications, ordering, quality inspections, coordination, delivery, and financial concerns. The specific details—such as furniture finishes, fabric choices, and color specifications—are handled by our team.

  • We will make sure that the highest level of quality is delivered in the most reasonable amount of time.

  • We will find beautiful design solutions at affordable prices. I have well-established, ongoing relationships with a number of suppliers.

  • We deal directly with suppliers in the event we need a replacement, there is a damaged piece, or the wrong item is delivered.

  • We make sure that every item has been ordered on time so that there are no surprises. If needed, we will make sure that everything is stored and delivered at the right time for installation.
