Introducing New Services for the New Year
Each January, I look forward to beginning a new year with fresh goals and ideas—and this year is no different. I am so excited to offer a new trio of services that I like to refer to as my “Affordable Options.” In addition to my traditional full-service design options, I will now be offering E-Design, One Time Consultations, and Design Consulting. Regardless of which option you choose, it comes with my unwavering commitment to making interior design accessible, affordable, and beautiful for each and every client. Here is a brief summary of my new services.
E-Design $895 per room
Designed for today’s family, my E-Design process offers clients a virtual option to create a beautiful, functional space of their dreams. Whether you live in Washington, D.C. or beyond, E-Design is an accessible and affordable alternative to the traditional design process with the same creative vision as my in-person approach. At the end of the process, each client is provided with specifications that they can share with the construction firm of their choice and/or a furnishing shopping list to implement on their own. In order to meet specific style, spatial, and budget requirements, I follow the following steps:
Site Survey. The site survey will give me the foundation I need to create your new space. This will be performed by you using simple measuring guidelines that I will provide.
Design. I will upload the measurements you provide into AutoCAD and produce a floor plan layout of the space. I will also ask you to answer a brief questionnaire that I will use to begin sourcing materials and products and creating mood boards representative of the final look.
Deliverable. You will receive the following: a floor plan of your spaces (including dimensions for the contractor) and a mood board for each space. The mood board will include floor finishes, wall finishes, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry (and closet shelving), light fixtures, and accessories. I will also provide a shopping list, which includes all items on the mood board.
Construction. You will act as the project manager to hire a contractor to complete the work, transcribe the drawings, convey design intent, and oversee construction. I am available for site visits or questions as needed at an additional hourly rate.
After receiving measurements from the client, the E-Design process takes approximately three weeks to complete.
One Time Consultation $595 flat fee
