Hello, I’m Heather!
I’m an Eastern Shore based interior designer with 20+ years of experience and the founder of Heather Disabella Interior Design. I spent the first 10 years of my career working with corporate, healthcare, and not-for-profit clients, which I truly loved. After the birth of my first child, I quit my full-time job with a firm and launched HDID where I have enjoyed working with over 200+ clients since opening.
HDID is a boutique studio located on the beautiful Eastern Shore, serving the surrounding areas including Annapolis, Easton and St. Michaels. Specializing in full-service residential design, we are a close-knit team of passionate creatives.

Vintage & thrifting fanatic who loves a good Estate Sale and is slowly renovating her 19th ce home on Capitol Hill. Home decor style: a seamless blend of vintage, modern & antique.Obsessed with Parisian Apartment Interiors, tonal color schemes, and ikat fabric patterns.
Maggie Marquis
DESIGN LEAD
Artist extraordinaire with a passion for painting, drawing, sewing, sculpting, ceramics, and dancing. Home decor style: avoids super-traditional, super-modern, and industrial styles. Favorite colors: can make almost any color work! Loving modern styles with unexpected shapes, textures, and minimalism.
Katharine Spreen
DESIGN LEAD
Katharine is a lover of foodie cities, always on the lookout for great flavors. She’s got a hidden talent for picking up new software and adores the view of DC’s skyline from the GW Parkway. Her home style mixes mid-century modern with eclectic touches, and she’s all about printed wallpaper, gallery walls, and rich colors like blue and mustard yellow. A fan of dogs (but also some cats), she can’t live without pasta and enjoys a good karaoke session singing "Velvet Elvis" by Kacey Musgraves!

ACCOUNTING & PROCUREMENT DIRECTOR
Gift-giving guru and lover of The Portrait Gallery. Home decor style: traditional and eclectic. Favorite colors: salmon, teal, gold, and Robin’s egg blue.

PROJECT COORDINATOR
Master of impromptu dinner parties. Home decor style: traditional for details, mid-century modern for architecture, and eclectic for materials & furniture. Favorite colors: cognac, cream, sage/pistachio/olive/forest green, terracotta, saturated red. Trend loves: painted windows, contrasting piping on pillows and furniture, unexpected pops of color, and bringing nature indoors.
