Embracing the challenge of a strict deadline due to the client's second pregnancy, we embarked on revitalizing an antiquated basement into a multifunctional space.

The primary goals included brightening the area by removing cumbersome built-ins and integrating efficient storage solutions, including toy storage and a fireplace within the built-ins. We enhanced functionality by converting the basement into a versatile playroom and entertainment area that seamlessly connects to the garden. Accessibility was improved throughout, notably redesigning the bathroom layout to cater not only to guests but also to the main living space.

A cosmetic overhaul of the kitchen was pivotal in maximizing space and comfort. Dark cabinets were replaced with bright white counterparts, complemented by optimized storage solutions such as a fully customized pantry and bespoke pull-out features in all corner cabinets.
